A Fashion Holiday Card. Featuring a Look Book.

One of my friends and I are collaborating on a fashion project this month so I thought I'd make a fashion-themed holiday card for her:

On the inside, I taped a look book I compiled from this past year's fashion.

I used an ink pen and watercolor pencils.

Excuse my poorly executed (and halfhearted) limbs.
I figured even empty space could be better than my really ugly drawings of hands.

I Chase Tails

This was from while I was still in school, but on Fridays I didn't have class til noon so I always tried to dress up even though I was supposed to wear my sorority letters (whoops!).

I paired a thrifted cropped crocheted sweater with a oversized denim collared shirt that I took from my dad before I left for school. The second picture kind of shows the collar peaking out from the sweater which was my favorite part (aside form the huge-ass denim tail).

The wedged boots are from Simply Vera by Vera Wang (my parents swear by Kohl's). And so should I, frankly, because they were $20 and the jeans (which are also from there) were $8.

Mrs. Bennett

If only I was in Pride & Prejudice living the last years of my life trying to marry off my daughters... bahaha not happenin'.

What Duh...

All right I'm finally going to awaken from an unproductive slumber - a whole month has flown by and only because I've been watching ... Hulu.
Frankly, gibt's some good summer shows to which one could shamelessly succumb:
Masterchef,
SYTYCD (m+m!),
Glee Project (no wait..),
PLL (say what. just stop embarrassing yourself).

Pry self from desk,
Stretch out those limbs...

Oooh a hat!

Accessorize!!

Start acting your age...

Come on, at least look presentable - clean up yoself.

All right. Too much productivity (it's hurtin' my mushy brain) --
I might return in a couple light years. Stay cool.
